Santorini
This pretty Greek island is famous for its breathtaking views, stunning sunsets and unusual beaches (there’s a black pebble beach, red beach, and white beach which is only accessible from the sea). The white-washed traditional Cycladic buildings and blue-domed churches give Santorini its unique character which has long been popular with the fashionable set.

Paris
It wouldn’t be possible to write an article about the sexiest spots on earth without mentioning Paris, which everyone recognises as one of the most romantic cities in the world. This city of love is also one of the sexiest spots to visit, thanks to its chic designer boutiques, dramatic gourmet restaurants, grand buildings and impressive galleries.

Krabi
Located in Thailand approximately 800km from Bangkok is this stunning destination which is popular with honeymooners. The palm-fringed sandy beaches in Krabi are white and soft underfoot and the water is crystal clear, making it ideal for snorkelling.

With a backdrop of lush green mountains and secret caves to discover, this destination is made for exploring.

Bora Bora
Travel 150 miles north-west of Tahiti and you will discover Bora Bora, an idyllic destination with endless white sand beaches, clear turquoise waters, secluded lagoons and beautiful green mountains.

The island is dominated by two large black peaks, and is renowned for ample watersport opportunities – snorkelling and scuba-diving amongst the favourites. This is the perfect place for hot romantic getaway.

Rio de Janeiro
Attracts many visitors each year, hoping to experience a slice of Brazilian life. Carnival is the most popular time to visit, bringing in masses of tourists, ready to party the night away in the hot, humid streets. This is by far one of the sexiest places in the world to visit – even the hip-shaking music oozes sensuality.

Maldives
There’s nothing more intimate than staying on a private island, surrounded by calm blue water, soft white sand beaches and lush green foliage. The Maldives is one of the world’s most popular honeymoon destinations and it’s easy to see why. Spending time in such a tranquil and beautiful destination helps you forget your former busy life and focus your attention on one another.

Visit Dhoni Mighili or Rangali Island to experience luxury at its very best. With personal butlers on-hand and traditional style accommodation on stilts in the ocean, a stay at either one of these resorts is guaranteed to leave you with unforgettable memories.

Punta Cana
Many would argue that Punta Cana features some of the best beaches in the world, with soft sand, calm blue waters, and gentle swaying palm trees. If you don’t want to spend your time just lazing on the beach, then there is a range of watersports available, such as snorkeling, jet-skiing, scuba diving and sailing.

During the day, enjoy the thrill of a jeep safari through the Dominican countryside and when the sun goes down sample the delicious local cuisine before dancing the night away under the stars.

Oahu
This is the third largest island of Hawaii and has famously been used as the prime location for countless films and TV programmes, including Lost and Jurassic Park. This is due to the island’s dramatic landscapes: green mountains, pristine beaches, steamy jungles, urban cities, lush valleys and breathtaking cliffs.

The exotic location with its outstanding natural beauty will provide visitors with a unique holiday experience where anything is possible.

Langkawi
This group of 99 unspoilt islands are located approximately 30km from the mainland coast of north-western Malaysia. Shrouded in mystery and legend, these beautiful islands offer plenty to experience and explore.

Getting the Best Snorkeling Equipment For a Perfect Snorkeling Experience

Snorkeling is a lot of fun, but before you go into the water, there is a couple of things you need to know. You need to choose your snorkeling equipment carefully and properly learn how to use it. Let’s consider some of these equipment.

Snorkeling Mask:

How do you know if a mask fits well? Take your snorkeling mask and put on your face as if you are going to wear it, then you try to breathe in through your nose and see if the mask sucks up against your face without leaking air. If the mask will stay on your face when you let go of your hands then you probably have gotten a good fit.

Snorkel:

Another nice piece of equipment to have is the snorkel. Well you do not have to have a snorkel, its just that it is really tiring to constantly lift you head up out of the water to breathe, so a snorkel solves that problem. There are several type of snorkels, amongst a variety is a special kind of that has a little float at the upper end. What it does is that when you go under the water the float closes off so the snorkel doesn’t fill up with water. It is particularly a nice type to have as you can enjoy an extended stay under the water.

Snorkeling Fins:

Another nice piece of snorkeling equipment to have is a pair of snorkeling fin. Now if you are in really shallow water say two to four feet deep, you might not need the fins. But if you are in water that is a little bit deep or if you want to cover a wider area then its nice to have fins because they help you glide effortlessly through the water and when you are snorkeling you want to be very relaxed and just try not to work too hard so you can enjoy it.

Generally, just about any sandy beach for instance in Florida is going to be a good snorkeling when the water is clear, there are also few places where there are natural geographical features that makes snorkeling even more fun. Moving further north to the Tampa bay area there is the Egmont Key, another great place will be the St Andrews state park in Northwest Florida near Panama city. Otherwise, you may want to go book a snorkeling holiday abroad with interesting experiences like with the Punta Cana snorkeling or you may want to try snorkeling in Cabo for a change of scene and refreshing experience.

Now we have learned how to choose our snorkeling equipment and how to use them and how to go out on the water and thrive in one of our going to be best snorkeling experience.

How To Find A Place To Live In Dominican Republic

First you have to examine what is more suitable for your needs: a house or an apartment. If you are thinking of a house you will have more privacy, but also more responsibility. You will need to install an alarm system, gas for your stove or oven, if it is not furnished you need to buy all the furniture, also a generator or inverter because of all the blackouts in the country. All those appliances add more costs to your purchase price or you have the option of buying or renting a furnished house and avoiding the headache of buying all the furniture.

If you are thinking of an apartment you have the same options, to buy or rent, furnished or unfurnished, new or previously owned. All those choices will modify the price of the apartment. The least expensive option is a previously owned unfurnished apartment in a neighborhood outside the city. You can find surprising prices, for instance, I am selling one with 3 bedrooms for US$46,000. The down side of this option is that there will be more blackouts and noise in this area.

The most expensive option is an apartment located in the central zone of the city like: Naco, Piantini, Serralles, and Evaristo Morales, among others. Those kinds of apartments sometimes are furnished and most likely come with generators, lobby, parking spaces, and security staff and are constructed with premium materials. The price range is US$1,200 per square meters, so if you want an apartment of 200 meters you will most likely pay US$240,000 and will rent it for US$1,500.

If what you are looking for is beaches Dominican Republic has many options: the world known Punta Cana, Bayahibe, Puerto Plata and a paradise yet to be discovered by the world: Samana. The prices of these properties vary if they have beach front or by their distance from the beach. The closer to the beach, the higher the price will be. We cannot forget about the astonishing properties of Casa de Campo and Cap Cana with all the golf courses designed by the famous golf player Jack Nicklaus. These are perfect properties if you are coming for retirement in paradise.

Lastly, you need to find a reliable and qualified person to help you find those properties that can speak your language to help you mediate the purchase or rent negotiations. This person is a Real Estate Agent that ideally is associated with a know company, so you can avoid the numerous scams that are out there, because you won’t be able to read the deeds and you don’t know the Dominican laws, and that can make you an easy target for scams.

I hope I can help you find the property of your dreams and that I can answer any question not covered in this article. Go to my blog and leave me a comment or write me with your concerns.

The Punta Cana Airport

Punta Cana’s airport is not only a welcoming structure to visitors arriving on the island, but also an environmentally-friendly building that gives back to the island’s environment.

As the flight reaches the Dominican Republic, one cannot miss the thatched roof and the open air design of the Punta Cana International Airport. The airport was designed to both welcome visitors, and be environmentally responsible, using native design and materials.
There is a modern new air-conditioned terminal for passenger arrivals.

Upon arriving at the Punta Cana airport, each passenger is required to purchase a $10.00 tourist card before entering customs. After retrieving luggage and clearing customs, passengers are usually greeted by their tour company representative and directed to board the correct bus for transfer to their resort. The Department of Migration photographs United States citizens who enter the Dominican Republic with birth certificates and photo identification. This will not affect United States citizens who travel using their passports. This is being done to prevent illegal entry back into the United States. The computerized systems are in place at each of the international air and maritime ports. However, visitors in general are advised to confirm travel documentation with the nearest Dominican Republic Consulate.
